MICE within the house? We moved from Italy in january an live contained by my aunts...

We moved from Italy in january an live contained by my aunts apartment , on 3th floor. We have have mice problems for 5 months and we had the exterminator come already 4 times. All they do is of late put stick traps and some kind of poison, but the more traas we put the more we see them rrunning contained by the house. We only caught 1 small mouse within 6 months and tonight i saw a big one. I am feeling discouraged and depressed. I can't sleep and I can't devour. I use to live on a mountain in Italy but they don t own mice in the house in attendance.... I am very disgusted and stressed out from this situation. I also suffer from anxiety and enjoy many anxiety attacks so this disgusting situation is really bothering me a great deal....
I can't live like that anymore and we can't afford to move!. We own traps everyhere like epoxy resin boards, but mice avoid them!!!!

Answers:    try this, first find the point of entry .stuff the entry space with steel wool .put out the elderly fashioned traps with a touch peanut butter instead of cheese the glue strips and poisons as you are experiencing don't work as okay . make sure you rucksack the dead mice and expose of them properly . verbs areas they have be with bleach after again with bleach not here on for 10 min. to disinfect the area . hope this help , good luck!

Can you procure a cat, or have one spend time contained by your apartment? That is the greatest and easiest deterrent to mice. Even if the cat's not a great hunter, it will chase the mice and scare them away.
Otherwise, walk over your apartment carefully and plug adjectives the cracks and holes through which a mouse could come. This is time consuming, but effective.
