I'm getting a marimo ball and it is 3 1/2 cm.
I want it to grow faster and grow more rounder and greener so I want to add on some minerals inside the water.
What minerals do marimo ball like?
e.g. calcuim, protein, vitamin a, b, c, d, e.., store bought minerals, rocks etc.

Answers:    A plain aquatic/aquarium fertilizer will work well. I hold mine in a aquarium near an organic adjectives plant fertilizer. They like nitrogen, close to other algae and aquarium plants. An aquarium light within the proper spectrum for plant growth would also expedite things.

As for growing round, if you take the bubble out and roll in within your hands similar to a ball of clay every presently and then it should be/stay pretty round.
