Recently bought a house in Rockville, MD. We own a nice big magnolia tree in the front courtyard. Recently, its been shedding greatly of leaves. The leave are turning pallid and dropping off. Any thoughts to what this might be. Should I hail as a professional?
Answers:    Are there spots on the leaves or are they a moment ago turning yellow? If near are spots it's most likely a fungal disease and you can christen a tree doctor if you want. Or if you can spray it yourself get Daconil and spray it as directed.

If it's a moment ago turning yellow and in attendance are no spots it is probably from an environmental stress and they are sissy plants--they get stressed effortlessly. In this case at hand is nothing to do but permit it go. Usually near is enough stored food surrounded by the roots to cause lesser buds to develop and rebud a 2nd time. If it does rebud you can give it a root feed at that time. Your favorite L&G Center should have the Daconil or the fertilizer.
I live surrounded by KY and have a huge tree. They do this constantly and it seem you have to rake everyday. Thats the problem near these trees. They're beautiful when they bloom though. I'd resembling to cut mine down cause i'm tired or rake. There are magnolia trees all around this nouns and they all do it.
