what light spectrums are best for growing indoors
UV night light, plants need it to photosynthesis, more you get of it the better the plants will grow, but if there isn't the right set off of water and oxygen it will enjoy the opposite effect.

Only 37% of the energy contained by sunlight is within the wavelength (colors) adjectives for photosynthesis, while 62.4% is infrared (thermal energy) and the remaining 0.6% is ultraviolet. Photosynthesis in the plant fern is powered by 1% of the sunlight that falls on the plant, 10% of the sunlight is reflected and 10% pass through the leaf. The palm leaf will retain 80% which is used for transpiration. Some of the light is re-radiated, while the fraction that remains is used for building food from the carbon dioxide, minerals and river.. check this site out, hopefully it will be of some help to you--
