we are buying a house in a suburb surrounded by minnesota... we are muslim family, I enjoy 3 boys and girl all underneath 10...I'm kinda of nervous of how our neighbours would act in response or recieve us. we have wonderfull neighbours where on earth we live now especially accepting and we have prearranged each other for 9 yrs in a minute.

how would you react beside a women who is dressed like middle eastern,,,moving within your neighbourhood??

I'm sure I'll enjoy a wonderfull experience but just jittery, after 9/11 we are all see as terrorists.

oh yeah ,,and who doesn't celebrate,,,halloween, or birthdays?

would u preserve ur distance or smile and welcome them?

Answers:    Most Americans are amenable to other cultures. Please remember that 99.9% of us are descended from immigrants. I expect there is curiosity nearly people who are dressed rather differently, and a bit of fear almost Muslims, but in the ruin, if you are friendly, it will all work out ably.

Don't isolate yourselves. Your children will be wonderful ambassadors, as expected, but as you can, meet your neighbors, and remember to travel out of your way to be friendly.

hi....economically in N.Y.C. where on earth i live no one care about see or anything i have adjectives different types of neighbors, but you are moving to Minnesota which might be a lot different next N.Y.C. but it doesn't matter what folks think. I hope you the best of luck! =)
