I keep audible range mumuring sounds either contained by my attic or in the walls contained by the early hours of the morning resembling between 4am and 8am. It's not constant maybe every 20 minutes or so. Also I hear crackling sounds and sometimes scratch. I've had abundant pest control companies to come out but they can't see how something of that size get within my attic or the walls. My townhome has be treated for roof rats many of times, but I still keep hold of hearing one and the same sounds.

Answers:    How about squirrels? And bat sort of chirp and sing. Yes, racoons can get into walls. Why not between town houses, if they can seize between any other walls? All they need is a hole beneath the eaves somewhere, or down a chimney, or wherever.
