Is truth that Fluorescent bulbs are risky for vigour and also contains a significant amount of mercury ? ...

Answers:    Absolutely false!!!!

Yes they do contain mercury. But they have almost 5mg. or less within the spiral lamps. (The 4' and 8' tubes enjoy more)

You would be surprised at how many things contain mercury. for example:

Old style thermometer - 3000 mg's.
Mechanical thermostat - 500 mg's.
The filling in your mouth contain mercury.

Flurescents can in truth be resonsible for less mercury man released into the atmosphere than Incandescent Light Bulbs

Ironically, CFLs present an opportunity to prevent mercury
from entering our air, where on earth it most affects our health. The
peak source of mercury in our nouns comes from burning
fossil fuels such as coal, the most common fuel used surrounded by the
U.S. to produce electricity. A CFL uses 75% less joie de vivre
than an incandescent light bulb and last at least 6 times
longer. A power plant will ooze 10mg of mercury to produce
the electricity to run an incandescent bulb compared to only
2.4mg of mercury to run a CFL for like time.
Yes, they do contain some Mercury. Not an entirely huge amount, but that's what makes the electrons excited inside the glass. (Long explanation from Chemistry) Also some of those unusual "energy efficient" bulbs hold it.
