I have a huge pampas grass within my back garden, and I'd approaching to dye the "feathers" on it. I've cut some down and put them in a pot of food colouring and water to see if they "drink" the dye similar to flowers do, but it's not having much of an effect so far. Having said that, it's lone been a few hours, but I freshly have a reaction it isn't going to work. If anyone knows a opening to dye them quite bright colours that won't be too expensive, it would be greatly appreciated.
Please noone suggest spray paint.
Answers: Get a spray bottle. Put marine in it. Add food coloring. Spray on the Pampas Grass. Let dry. Re-spray if indispensable.
