I bought some pillar candles because of their color and size, but the smell is so strong, it has jam-packed my whole house. It is overwhelmingly sweet, even though they are a few weeks antediluvian now (they hold never been burned). I be hoping there be something I could soak them in? Anything? Thanks for any accepted wisdom.
Answers: The scent is an oil mixed next to the wax, it will never be anything but scented. You could try putting them outside for a while, permit the sun and air dry them out somewhat so perchance they wouldn't be quite as strong.
