We just moved into a 2 bedroom apartment. We get out first gas bill, which was for solely 12 days, and it was $254!! I don't comprehend, this seems rediculously illustrious. It's 2 of us, we each shower every other morning. The heat hasn't be on since we moved in. We hold not used the stove (except to boil water). We wipe the dishes once a day, and bath clothes about twice a week. I'm highly confused.. it said we used 152 therms? I'm not even sure what this means. Does this appear really high to everyone else, or is this what I should of be expecting??

I enjoy a 2 bedroom too and my bill is about 85/month right in a minute. Your bill seems really glorious. Maybe you have a discharge or was here a hook up fee? That bill in recent times doesn't seem right. You should ring up the company and have them explain. Maybe it's a out of order meter or something.

With the numbers you give your paying about $1.6710 per therm which is really giant.
But, if you just moved surrounded by then I know that your also paying for a brand new account / hook up excise.
As for the therms used I find it hard to beleive that you would use 152 therms surrounded by 12 days that would be 12.66 therms per day. That is really giant I used 3 per day for the end month and it was alot colder next normal.
Has anyone considered/is trying "Slow living"?
Answers:    Yes it sounds ridiculously high! I am assuming that you live surrounded by the US but I could be wrong. We always have a gas bill of like 25 dollars at this time of year. I come up with the worst we ever had be like $150 during the winter when I kept running the gas fireplace. You might be paying for a previously unpaid bill from the previous tennant or the manager while he was within there fixing up the place. Call the gas company and find out.
