Is it possibly to charge a 12v 100ah hermetic battery-operated when it is lone giving stale 5.5v? I have a 12v 100ah sealed battery-operated which was given to me....

I have a 12v 100ah sealed battery-operated which was given to me. It is around 8 months old. I tested it and it be giving off 5.5v. I tried connecting it to a 35w solar panel (using a regulator) and taking regular readings. It be left for a week and there be still no change to the voltage in the battery-operated.
I then tried connecting it to my car freestyle charger for a few hours (a 10amp charger) - still the battery will not increase its charge. Is there anything I can do to grasp it back up to 12v?
Answers:    Is it a wet or dry mobile? If you really like to inspect what is going on you have to unscrew it carefully in a all right ventilated place, use protecting gloves and glasses and no children around. You can look at the connections between the cell and see/test if they are still functional. if not you can try to rewire the cells. Possibly some cell are dry(in case of wet cells) or are "dead" for both damp and dry cells. You also can inspect which cells are working by disconnecting groups and examination what the voltage and amperage is of these groups. Repairing the battery is not really an options when cell are dead, it is a lot of work to procure everything to replace the dead cells, thus silly. The answers with the funeral/disposal options you already received are adjectives sense. Only if you like to learn more going on for batteries then verbs into the How stuff Works website and learn about battery http://www.howstuffworks.com/battery.htm and start inspecting carefully the battery you own with in the subsidise of your mind that at the end it still ends up as a disposal.
THE CELL'S ARE GONE TO HEAVEN, OR WENT TO SEE THE DEVIL..GO OUT AND GET ANOTHER ONE, AND GIVE THE OLD ONE A DECENT FUNREAL.
P.S ---DONT GORGET THE FLOWERS Probably not(short of rebuilding).Sounds like the cell are shorted.
