Answers: I expect it's personal preference. I prefer a gas stove.
Unfortunately the places I've lived within usually have an electric stove. I dream up they're cheaper for Landlords to buy.
A gas stove is far more controllable. You don't see professional chefs using electric stoves. Electric ovens are OK, but gas is better there too surrounded by my opinion.
