Is nearby anyway to win melt plastic stale a cup top stove? Accidently melt a plastic lid on top? thx.? My father accidently melted a plastic lid to the stove top...
My father accidently melted a plastic lid to the stove top and in a minute I have a small chunk of plastic truly melted to the cup top warmer...is in attendance anyway of getting this off? Thank you for your relieve.
If you get a glass-scraper (it's a razor-blade thingie), you might know how to get it sour (CAREFULLY!) without heat it back up.
In certainty, I'd put a cold pack on it to constrict the plastic, then with care try to scrape it stale.
Don't cut yourself!
The trick here is to go slowly and in moderation so you don't damage your stove top...
1. Turn the stove on Medium-low
2. Carefully use a cut-throat scraper and see if the plastic will come off...Make sure you are using a current blade
3. If the plastic is not coming off, little by little increase the heat until you are competent to scrape it past its sell-by date without too much force...You might want to wear some protective gloves...Melted plastic on naked skin can make ya say aloud bad words...
...Again, shift SLOWLY
Answers: Warm it back up
Wipe it past its sell-by date
Be careful melt plastic on skin hurts
acetone will do it ,wont hurt the glass.
