I'm buying an immersion blender for my dad for his birthday--he's always been the chef surrounded by our family. He has pretty big hand and our kitchen is already pretty full of gadgets. What are the choices and what is the best one? Easy to use is a good entity here!

Answers:    I got a BRAUN when my daughter was a little one and it was on its last legs when she get me a replacement Braun. She was 21 so it lasted 20+ years. I've have the new one for 3+ years now and I use it more than once a afternoon usually.
