i will be sewing mostly clothes i will probably need help using it but thats another sound out lol
Did lots of shopping less than a year ago when I needed a clean sewing machine. Got the Euro-Pro X model 7130 and am very pleased near it. Not an expensive one, but has performed totally well. It had be ages since I'd done any sewing, so I was really pleased that it came next to such a detailed manual. You can check them out on line, or I presume Sears sells them too. Be patient while you're erudition! Safety first! My oldest sister sewed across her thumbnail way back when, no, not across the wind up, but in the fleshy part.
Just remember to be alert, but not nervous, as you learn.
Our mother made most of our clothes as we grew up, and did a fine situation of it. Patience will get you there, own faith in yourself.
There are a few virtuous books for the beginner sewer that will explain all the fundamentals, including how to use the machine. I'm assuming that you'll be buying a basic domestic device which can do several different stitches and can have adjustable foots. I started with a adjectives machine and although I'm hardly a pro, I find really rugged to do certain fabrics approaching denim or hard materials. A more powerful machine I suppose is suitable and you might want to keep these kinda things in mind when buying a contraption. It really depends on how committed you'll be.

here is a good book to start:

Answers:    I recommend a Singer Sewing machine b/c (1) They have a correct brand name (2) They normally enjoy at least one service center within driving distance and (3) If the service center is also a cloth store, 8 out of 10 they will offer you some assistance in erudition how to use the features on your machine. I've had a Singer for around 5 years now. I use mine mostly for crafts, but I love it. My Mother and both Grandmothers also have Singers.
