my friend has be having a problem next to them getting in her apt--she asked the overseer to do something-have an exterminator spray her apt or whatever---he told her it will not help because they live surrounded by the palm trees around the complex-well ihave never heard ever that these creatures live within trees-i thought they lived only on the ground or have little tunnels in the ground and come out----they do not live in trees-do they??thank you

An exterminator have limits on the strength of spray they can use. You're better rotten mixing your own. You can keep them from staying alive once they find into your house even though you may not be able to maintain them out entirely.
The BEST spray I found is "Suspend SC" It has Deltamethrin 4.75%.
A pint costs going on for $70 but .75 ounces mixed with a gallon of sea lasts a long time so the bottle will finishing a couple years even if you spray every 4 weeks around the baseboards, doors and windows. You will start to see deceased scorps as well as departed crickets (food for scorps).
Yes, Scorps love palms, especially Queen Anne palms - the bark is what they resembling. Therefore, the little brown ones are called "Bark Scorpians".
If you are within Phoenix, you can find the Suspend in the Weed and Pest stores. I assume they have stores similar to that everywhere.

I other thought they lived in cave and moist, dark places close to that. I went surrounded by a cave within Belize and saw a bunch of them.
