Once I tucked an Orange seed into a planter that be sitting next to me while I be eating. It sprouted and I have the Orange tree for years. This inspired two goals surrounded by my life. (1) Sprout an avocado from the kernel and grow a pineapple from the the green top that is discarded when you chomp through the pineapple. Over the years, all attempts hold failed. I own two avocado pits waiting for life even as I write this. I can attempt like peas in a pod the same messed up recomennded methods as before or hope someone out in that can help me. I am infirm and gray and need to do this to get my life complete. HELP!
Answers: The toothpick method sometimes works. I mull over it depends on the seed itself because some avocado seed work when I do that and others don't. My son planted a pineapple crown once and it grew a pineapple. I think it depends on the environment, dirt, weather where on earth you plant it. I believe the pineapple grew because of where we live and the soil and weather here. There's a great deal of pineapple fields hard by where we live. Then again I infer anythings possible. Just give it a try, verbalize to it. Who knows what can take place. And define ancient and gray please. lol Peace!
I'm gonna guess it has to do near where you live.
I live close to Washington DC and whenever I throw an avocado pit in my compost it will sprout. I contemplate they only necessitate dirt, water and high temperature.
About the pineapple I don't know.
