I live in Western New York, own a private well as a wet source, and I want to have the hose tested. When we bought the house, it was tested, but the solitary results I got be, "drinkable". I would like to do my own experiment. Are there any online companies that you can dispatch water sample to?? Or local health organization, I have no model. Thank you!

Answers:    Your local health department have a kit you can procure to send sour... usually costs about $10. They can be found lower than "government" in the phone book.

Many of the building supply store chains also pass a kit that you can purchase to transport off. (Lowe's for example)
