I own no courtyard , i live within an apartment, I want to grow my own tomatoes, can i grow them inside by a glass?
You can procure a window garden tools and grow them as long as they can get plenty of sun and high temperature.
There are many stores on the pattern that sell them or you can usually pick up one at Wal Mart or any Home Improvement store. Hope that help and good luck!
If you've got a veranda or deck in/on your apartment, it would be better to put the plant outside. Also, there are constant varieties of tomatoes which will grow within containers, so you'll have to create sure you purchase one of those varieties.

Answers: If the window open so your plant would get 10 - 12 hours of direct sunlight you could plant a cherry tomato. Use a pot give or take a few a foot deep and a foot general. Pots dry out quickly so river it ever day to every other daylight. Add some fertilzer every 30 - 45 days too.
