Having had both, STICK TO GAS! It heat more evenly; it's cheaper; and it doesn't heat up your whole kitchen surrounded by the summer! I prefer electric cooker,It's economize
Try living without one. Seriously, try a different way of time using smaller devices like a steamer, deep oil fryer and one of those NuWave ovens (see link).
Must be better for the environment on being able to cook using 85% smaller quantity energy and twice as fast, strainght from the freezer!

i prefer gas.
Gas is best in every respect I'd never go away from a gas hob!! But a dual fuel would be ok. Don't resembling electric hobs - not enough control.
Answers: go with what you are most comfortable near.
i use electric at the moment but i prefer gas. some people will even tell you that the bite of the food you cook is different using gas/electric.
