I live within Wisconsin and my underground store flooded. Is in that a 'green' path to verbs or do i Have to use bleach?

We received over 8" inches of rain on sit. & sun. and my basement took on just about 4. I got most everything out, but immediately I need to verbs. Bleach gives me such a headache. Can I use anything else or is bleach the with the sole purpose way to progress?
