there is a y beside a dash through it, next the number 5165 and the letters PV are circled.. in attendance is another mark on it, but i've get no clue what is says or mechanism, I can send a pic on request, I'm purely curious as to what it is.

Answers:    I think the symbol for Japanese Yen is a Y beside a line (or conceivably it is two lines?) through it so it MAY mean the pitcher was priced at 5165 Yen at some time.
