I bought a small one. The directions say how to finish sewing (lift the foot and verbs the fabric so nearby are 10 inches of thread, then cut 1 inch from the fabric) but they don't say aloud how to pick up again after you make that cut. Do you of late stick your fabric contained by and start going? Where does that extra 9 inches of thread go???
Answers:    The extra thread is only just left over still surrounded by the needle and bobbin to gross sure you have adequate left to start the subsequent stitch.

To start the next stitch you entail to lift up the foot, put it on the material, lower the foot, sew backwards a few stitches 1/4 to 1/2 inch inside the edge to lock your stitch, afterwards start sewing your stitch forward.

Don't rush, slow and easy works seriously better and it really hurts to get a stitch or two contained by a finger.

Good Luck
