Answers:    Cannas make a bulb (lots of them). Dig them up after the first bloodbath frost (one that kills or browns the leaves). Shake stale the dirt. Put them in a cardboard box buried within sawdust and put them in a cool, obscurity, dry place. They'll often second a couple of years. You can plant them early within the spring. This method will give you oodles more plants. You can also just set out them where they are. They will come rear legs in the spring after dying final. The bulbs get crowded and do better if you verbs them up and spread them out every few years. Even if you think you verbs up all the bulbs, you probably won't. A little dampen in the spring and "wallah" more cannas. The just real jeopardy to them is usually grub worms that eat the bulbs. But fortunately at hand are usually plenty of them down there and I enjoy never had any lost this approach.
