How to gain rid of mice? 3.5 weeks ago i noticed mouse droppings for the first time in...

3.5 weeks ago i noticed mouse droppings for the first time in the spare cupboard within kitchen & noticed the builder hadn't covered up a small hole leading to the garden,we covered the hole and assumed the mouse have gone then got picked up an hour after that for our holiday abroad and didnt have time to get hold of traps.
3 weeks later when we got home I open the food cupboard & my worse nightmare was there. mouse droppings over everything (tons)and pasta and noodlepackets ripped approachable everywhere. My boyf managed the catch the little blighter contained by a trap on monday and we thought everything was ok.
Last night my boyf is lying on the couch and contained by the corner of his eye noticed 2 mice run from under respectively couch and meet up in the middle of the living room, when he moved they run backbone under. Now we have placed traps again and poison and they newly aren't having any of it. Ive even put peanut butter in the trap which be recommended. Please help as I feel so sick and cant sleep and embaressed! Thanx
I wouldn't recommend using poison because the little boogers are going to end up dying someplace out of achieve...the smell lasts for weeks. Keep using traps but try using a little bit of rare bacon. They can't resist. i had the same trouble near rats. this is what your boyfriend needs. a spare saturday afternoon. 8 cans of lager an nouns pistol, and a plastic bag for the deceased. at ease shooting
mice detestation the smell of peppermint. Maybe you can get some peppermint oil (health food store or flavoring for candy at a grocery store) put a drop or two on cotton ball and leave them in the cabinet. I lived in the country and had a mouse problem within the chicken house, I super-glued a piece of dry corn on a trap because they were so clever at stealing the bait, they had to wrestle the corn to clutch it and it became a challenge and they get caught. put the traps where you see them run. we had mice contained by our shed a couple of weeks ago so we put traps down with chocolate in them, we caught 6 and i muse we have caught them all but we start out chocolate in a couple of traps just surrounded by case
Little bunny foo foo! ha ha ha

Answers:    A few ethnic group mentioned some good ways on how to get rid of mice, but you've also get to take some countermeasures to prevent more from coming.

Do a careful scan of your living spaces and try to identify how the mice get in. They are capable of squeezing through a unharmed the size of your pinkie finger (which is quite small). When you find these entry points, seal them up beside caulk or for a quick temporary solution use steel wool.

Make sure adjectives food sources are tightly sealed and unreachable. Mice are agile climbers, so just because the box is "up high" doesn't parsimonious they can't get to it.

Once you've taken those preventative measures, you should continue beside the traps. Peanut butter and chocolate are excellent forms of bait. If you can stomach it (they get messy), use the glue traps as they work great. Avoid the use of poison for some of the reason already mentioned.

Finally, don't be embarrassed. Thousands of homes every year are overran by mice. It's a natural process of evolution as the mice are looking for safekeeping and comfort near readily available food sources. If you lug away those elements (by setting traps, preventing access, and removing food), the mice will have no choice but to move on.

Good Luck!
I use Havoc and sticky traps. We hold field mice that are actually voles. The little buggers get hold of between the bricks and the facing of our house. They dig tunnels and they eat plant life roots all around our shrubs. Yea... I know how you feel but you own to keep some poison and traps out. The poison is great. They take it subsidise to their nest and feed it to their family and they are no more. I in reality had them in my garage so impossible that a snake came in through their tunnel to seize him a meal. Havoc will dry up their blood from the inside out and leave the mouse dying beside no odor. I have never had one die inside the walls of my house. Never contained by my life have I see that but to be sure you can get the sticky traps. They seem to work drastically well. Not fun to take guardianship of when you catch one but they do work. Reading your question... it sounded so identifiable. I have been re-doing my bedroom - I hear a noise coming from a spare dresser in my huge closet.. open the drawer, a mouse ran out of it & there be a NEST of 3 little baby mice & it was the most disgusting point EVERRRRR! So, I got some sticky traps put chocolate in one, and caught one mouse. I thought that would be adjectives, but last night, my sister saw a mouse run UNDER MY BED!! I could PUKE!
Absolutly disgusting... So unwarranted to say I slept in the living room closing night... i am so creeped out. I will be putting more chocolate in the traps...

Anyhow, we attain the sticky traps from "Giant Eagle" grocery store... hopefully you have them around you because that is the ONLY place we can find them.

I know you're creeped out. I am too... I started crying so doomed to failure whenever I saw them in my bedroom... its the most disgusting thing ever!

Good luck getting rid of those disgusting little creatures!!
