How to build storage shelves surrounded by the underground store? I'm buying a home. I want to build some storage shelves...

I'm buying a home. I want to build some storage shelves in the curtailed basement along one of the walls. What I enjoy in mind is that the shelves would be 18" or 24" philosophical. Nothing special. Thinking about connecting the support to the ceiling support beam. I'm not a very handy character. Anybody know where I can find some guidance on this sort of project?
Answers:    Lowes or Home Depot or Menard's adjectives have plans..I would use 2"x4"s for framework & probably plywood or smooth lbr for the shelves..I dislike that phoney shelving that bows & twists..Space the bracing close plenty so the shelves don't bend & look messy..Also..Keep the shelving "off the floor"..room plenty beneath to vacuum & clean once or twice a yr. Many underground store floors perspire a bit..so give it room to breathe. Give yourself some miscellany..for large or larger items. I own home-made shelving of the order..& they are fastened to floor joist for extra support..
Go to Lowe's, use a wall bracket system, this will be an easy home expansion project
