Buy a pellet, bb, or .22 caliber hand gun.
I'm sure to get hold of plenty of thumbs down, but pigeons are a pain.
Answers: You dont have to shoot em. A flawless garden supply house can sell you a plastic Great Horned Owl. Set it out on the shelf and everything stays away, even cats.
