How to attain rid of ants lacking using any poisons.?
I heard of three different things you can do for ants.
1. spread bay palm leaf around the area you see them
2. put cucumber peelings around the area you see the
and 3. spray vinegar around the house every twelve months
I read in a magazine the other day that talcum powder would attain rid of them. I had ants coming from a window, walking along the wall until they come to our trash can. Ant traps weren't working so I thought I would give it a try. My walls are white so I cleaned all the ants rotten, put talc in my hand and brushed it up and down the wall from the trash can to the glass and then put a little contained by the corner of the window and to this day I own not seen an ant in that nouns again. So for whatever reason it worked for me. First you stipulation to figure out what they are after & clean that up. If they are after sugar, trademark your sugary stuff in plastic containers so they can't get at it.
Second, how are they getting surrounded by. Seal up cracks, caulk around windows.
I had a big problem in the region of a month ago. I used ant block granuels across the front door & outside windows. I have a brick house that have what they call weeping holes at the base to gain rid of moisture. I put bay leafs in respectively weeping hole. No more ants. Have not seen one since we did the leaves.

There are a lot of suggestions, some didn't work for me. The borax didn't work, neither did the ant traps. If you need to capture rid of the ones you can see, a 50/50 mix of alcohol & water in a spray bottle kill them almost instantly. It won't keep them from coming back, but the ones you do see are taken prudence of.
