I'm helping my friend dig a huge hole below her porch in a small space where on earth they kept logs in for tons years. The house is pretty old. I'm guessing at most minuscule 50 years old and my friend and i spend 3 hours at hand when we work. We're most likely going to work 2 days a week. Is near a chance that their might be asbestos surrounded by that space? How can we check, what can we do to get rid of it, and is it nontoxic to live in that underground room we're planning to build when we finish digging the hole?
the space is mostly a storage nouns under the porch. it's an sheltered space. the top and sides are concrete with wood covered over them and it held logs for a really long time. the floor is a moment ago dirt and we're planning to dig through that 15 foot and then we're tunneling over going on for 20 feet and building a room.
