I planted seeds 12 days ago and merely 3 have emerge. Will the rest come as well or should I verbs them up and start over?
Answers:    Generally, anywhere from 7 to 14 days, but I have have some come up in days gone by as early as 3 days and as past due as 20. It all depends on your soil conditions and how much water/sunlight they own received.

If the soil is not warm satisfactory it can slow down the germination process. If it has be too dry, that can slow it down too. Too wet conditions can impose the seeds to rot surrounded by the ground.

You can gently brush the soil away from the top of the pip to see if it has germinate yet or if it have rotted. If they have rotted, don't bother digging them up, simply plant again. Think of them as a compost boost to the seeds you will replant.

Depending on where on earth you live, you may need to build a cold frame for subsequent year. That way, you can plant early in the season and be picking beans faster and longer. If you plant too late contained by the season, it will be too hot for the booms to set before it get to the hot (95+) part of summer and they will not produce very well.

I have beans in the order of an inch long on mine already and expect to start picking after the holiday weekend. If I keep them watered and picked, I should own beans all summer.
dont gain too excited. if some are up, the others are coming. sometimes they get planted a touch too deep (i do this adjectives the time) and take for a moment longer to come up. also, if the soil temp was cold, next it would take longer.
