How long does an orchid stay within bloom for? I have a fireplace and on the mantle right in a minute...

I have a fireplace and on the mantle right in a minute I have a thesis white, but I dont really like it. I would resembling to get an orchid but not sure how long it will ending...I dont have a green thumb so I own no idea.....

Here are three orchid websites. One of them should describe how long they stay in bloom. Oh, and when watering, thieve care not to catch the leaves wet.
