How durable are sentry fire/lock boxes?
Answers: we have one we own had for twenty years...six moves latter..its still good...its not be thru any kind of horrible deluge..but i assume its good..
The Sentry brand have a one year parts and labor warranty included and if it has an electronic code entry system an extra extended warranty can be purchased in most stores that market the safes and boxes.
Most of them above about 30.00 own a 30 minute fire rating and the more expensive ones have a 1 hour rating. this ability that documents inside will not reach a heat that can cause spontaneous combustion for all along the rating.
If you drop one more than one story they will probably be unusable but that does not begin often.
I sold them for 7 years at Staples and the solitary one that did get dog-eared, I bought and still have and it is fine.
