Answers: Glass apothecary jars are usually curved. It would require heat the candle. Safest suggestion: Sit candle on a warming plate. Pour small amounts of the melt wax into a mold (dixie cups work for tarts) and you get the jar untouched.
If youre going to chop up the candle you might as well break the jar and remove it
Just watch out you dont cut yourself on the glass.
