As a gift I lately recieves one of those little bamboo plants that you can buy at those stands surrounded by the mall. It's dying and i'm not sure how you're supposed to bring care of it? little water/lot of dampen... little sunlight/a lot of sun?
Answers: Are you talking in the order of the green sticks with leaves surrounded by a 'rock filled' pot with hose (there are usually three sticks per pot)? That is a 'lucky ti plant' and what you need to do is WATER it every afternoon ... and keep it surrounded by 'bright light' but out of direct sunlight. Most of the 'pots' are FAR TOO SMALL so if you want you should go buy a larger pot and larger stones and move the sticks to the pot and put the stones around and hose down that ... but if your 'plants' are turning yellow surrounded by the stick, they're dying, and the only entry you can do is throw them out and get different ones ... also NEVER plant them in equal pot as the 'dying' plants because there could be some 'plant disease' that your different plants could catch. So if you do buy contemporary ones ... be SURE they are healthy, near NO 'yellow spots' and are 'brown green' all over ...
hose it enough-- it needs indirect sunlight ... not right contained by front of the window but contained by a sun patch
