I want to grow Bamboo in my spinal column patio nouns. Is it true that if I just throw some wicker back their that it will spread and grow on its own? If not what do I hold to do, buy seeds or something? Help....BTW, I live on Long Island....
Answers:    Bamboo is an outdoor species (whether it is a plant or grass is a hot debate) so it should grow fine outdoors beside plenty of moderate sunlight and plenty of water (it drinks it swift and is an extremely fast grower). I would buy several fit bamboo plants first (not huge ready ones, but not tiny new plants either) and agree to them get established surrounded by their new environment. They are ample growers so they should grow and fill out themselves and generate sure you keep them trimmed for unmoving shoots often. I judge trying to start bamboo near seeds would be too laborous and slow. You didn't mention whether you considered necessary to keep them as potted plants or plant contained by the ground. If you want them in the ground and to spread out, it shouldn't be too difficult and I'd catch more information at a nursery first.
the trouble is finding seeds or precipitate shoots...everyone does not carry them
