I have these huge slugs in my backyard and they won't be in motion away! These aren't any normal slugs either, they are black and roughly speaking 4 inches long!! Please help me! They do not fit in traps and saline doesn't work and they only come out at night.
Pour some Bud Light into a shallow container and place that container slightly lower than your garden surface. The slugs will be attracted to the sugar in the beer, crawl into the container and drown. The stuff also attracts months. Place a shallow bowl of beer in your garden. They will walk in and die.

If you have a pet and/or garden these slugs eat dog feces and rotten flora.

Get Sluggetta from the hardware store, or garden store, or any type of slug bait. Sprinkle it where you see the slugs. Ugh! My brother used to enjoy those nasty things in his patio. I always thought salt worked correct. Give 'em a bigger dose!
If that doesn't work learn to play a flute and lead them to the river.
Answers: If saline doesn't work, they are not slugs.
Try beer in a dish.
