Mine's full of birthday, christmas, graduation money, and maybe even some tooth fairy money too. It also have some antique jewelry that belonged to my great-great grandma, my great grandma and my grandma. But i lost the key and i can't get contained by there. I had another knob but i gave that to my mom in shield i ever lost mine but she lost hers too!! and i can't take it to someone to get a brand new key made or spend any kind of voluminous amounts of money on this. thanks! oh and this probably isn't in the right category.
Um I would try getting a pair of scissors and first them up, and then use one of the blades to stick in the keyhole, and next turn it.

Get something to push out the hinge pins that hold the lid in place. That is what you do to a door if it won't open out too (providing you are on the side with the hinge pins that is). Just find something small enough to put contained by there that forces the pins outward till you can grasp them and pull them the rest of the road out. Voila`! While it is open, you can get someone to bear you to the store and you can remove the old lock from the box and replace with a topical lock that has a key to it. Then replace the hinge pins. obtain a pair of finger nail or toe pin scissors that are small and put them in you have to waggle it up and down and turn it at the same time it might take some time but it dose work i lost my knob to my lock box and i finally got it open after hundreds of try's freshly be patient ok
Answers: I would give somebody a lift a chisel or a screw driver and place it near the latch and hit it in next to a hammer and pry that sucker open. You might want to put safekeeping glasses on to do it.
