How can i keep spiders and other bugs rotten my pergola and outdoor furniture? It would be nice if we could sit outside sometimes without mortal visited by spiders flaccid over our heads! Sometimes we stir outside in the morning and theres strings of web everywhere, any ideas?

What I believe you should do is get a honest insecticide (I know I hate poisons too but this is an extreme case) and spray it around a boundary of your patio/sun room on both the ceiling edge and the ground boundary, this will make an invisible boundary marker that the spiders/bugs cannot cross.

It would be hard to draw some inherent spider predators into your room since the most common one is birds and you don't want them within your house, so I would do the above.
