downstairs (not loud but loud enough to irritate me),every evening one when he is on his own (well he lives alone anyway) for a while repeatedly. txs
Answers: To avoid confrontation put a note through his door explaining the problem and if it stops fine.
If it continues move about down and try to explain the problem.If it continues contact the landlord and ask them to stop the problem.
If that does not work try getting the police to agree to him and stop it .
If that does not work retaliate by making noise that he may not approaching
If that does not work move or resort to violence...? Joking, do not move about down that route!.
Try a different approach other than accusing. Go down and ask him if you hold been getting too loud. Explain that you are starting to hear bang from his apartment, and you were concerned that he is audible range noises from your apartment too. Phrase it resembling you are concerned about his exuberance too, and try to be concerned. For all you know, he have no clue you are hearing the bang, and he may be hearning noises from your apartment also. Good luck!
