We just moved within 6 weeks ago, and obviously looked-for to change supplier for our gas and electric, chiefly coz we found a cheaper provider!
Phoned E.ON to see how much we owed them for the 6 weeks we've been within the house, they reckon we owe them lb100 for the 6 weeks!
Bear in mind, in that is only two of us, we are out adjectives day and to be honest are out like mad at weekends, we have not get a tumble dryer or overnight storage heaters etc. We have also be really carefull in the reality that we turn things off when not surrounded by use and do not leave things on standby.
Is this right and we've only not realised how expensive these things are?
Answers: not that is not right my gas and electric bill comes surrounded by at about 55- 60 pound a month. Did you rob a reading from the meter the day you moved contained by, if so they can work out what the bill is from that reading if not I'm sorry but you get no choice but to pay it, sounds approaching your paying for the previous persons bill. Hell yes that seem expensive i would kick a fuss and ask them to come read meters again etc it might be but TBH sounds too much dont only just pay it tho check first
