I live in southeast ga usa and I be wondering... when is the best time to start growing herbs and what type would do resourcefully in the humidity down here? I hold a spot that gets pretty much full sun and cloudiness, elevated, ph balanced and adjectives that... but what to plant and when!!?!
Answers: Put them in right presently. I'm in Central Alabama and enjoy dill, parsley, basil, rosemary, garlic, thyme, lavender, chives, mint, cilantro and a few others. I have them contained by pots, some planted together in a morning sun location. The lavender is the with the sole purpose one I planted in the ground. I put some purple fern basil in the ground ending year and it turned into a tree that took over the space. It didn't come back this spring though. Only entry not ready to use but is the garlic.
