They are the ones you stick surrounded by the ground and charge during the day and table lamp in the hours of darkness

Answers: They shoud do, most are meant for outdoor use, the singular thing that should stop them working woud be if they get water inside and it cause an electrical short, it should have be on the package what conditions they be suitable for, if you've thrown it away, you could maybe be in motion back to the store and look at other pack of the same product, or ask the assistant. Yes they will work but not as well because the withdrawal of sunlight will reduce the recharge.
