Grinding Tree Stumps - Keep the Wood Chips or will they bring out the termites? Hey all - I've done like mad of searching on the...

Hey all - I've done like mad of searching on the site and read roughly the pros and cons of fresh wood chips - here's my situation: I'm actually have about 23 (count'em) stumps ground down this week. Originally, the guy be offering to spread the wood chips around the yard - but later I got a advisory about termites from a friend of mine.

Now, the nouns we're talking almost is surrounding a pool and is far from our main house - however, the pool is close to a small cottage we enjoy on the property.

So the options are:

1. Spread the wood chips and put aside us money on both haul away and mulching surrounded by this rather substantial area.

2. Have him heave the chips away.

I really have no belief how big a pile of chips we're talking something like for 23 tree stumps - so I may have to own him haul away some of it anyway.
Answers:    Number one rules surrounded by the "Reducing Termite Activity" manual is the dull the amount of dead wood and cellulose materials around a property.

This is a no-brainer. If your property is contained by a high risk termite nouns then I would carry rid of the chip. Its not worth leaving on your property freshly so it can "look nice". It could cost you thousands of dollars damage.
do not spread subsequent to your buildings. i have a chipper and adjectives of my limbs i chip up and use around the flower bed. have not found any termites.
