Gas Fire, why cant i find it to work!!? My hubby says i obligation to let some gas out consequently...

My hubby says i obligation to let some gas out consequently click it to ignite, but it aint bloody working!! im cold!!

Answers:    Hold the nob down so you hear the gas, then ignite.
Failing which use a lighter or meeting.
