Garage Door Problem? My car has be stuck in the garage for two days because...

My car has be stuck in the garage for two days because I can't open it after it slammed down when I tried to close it. It seem like a small part of the spring broke and a short time ago below the spring a part that attaches to the garage door totally broke off the garage door. The screw that connected also broke off. I tried everything to try to open the garage next to my hands but its too heavy. I believe its almost stuck to the ground since it slammed the floor so complex the time it broke. I just need to receive the garage door open for a minute to get my vehicle out. Also there is a red string thats hanging down, what does pulling on that do? Any suggestions?

-Thanks
Find a friend or 2 to help you out. Have them grab ahold of the door as you push the button for the introduction. This will help lighten the nouns a little. They will lift the door and hold it initiate while you drive out. Reverse the procedure to close it, being sure not to let it slam again. Then telephone call a pro to fix the spring. This is not a DIY project. Hope this helps. to be totally safe..self suggest that u not pull on that red string b/c anythings posible at that moment..u shuld try to get sum sort of mechanic or atleast draw from some of ur guy friends to help u out
prop the garage door up with something strong, several chairs, ladders, doesn`t matter what you got, then slowly move the sports car in or out depending on where it is. You may also own to take a little nouns out of the tires so it doesn't scratch you paint as you back out..If the chairs aren't large enough, put them on top of book or bricks or something else.

Another remedy is take out your car jack and place that on something glorious like a chair and next jack up the door just enough to move the saloon.
Answers:    If your garage door is connected to an "automatic opener" , the red string is probably a "disengager", which disconnects the door from the drive components. If this is the case, then pulling the red string should disconnect the door from the electric drive-train, allowing you to lift up the door.
