My relative is moving from a 2500 square foot home to a condo or a nice apartment she has some kids. My quiz is since I will be helping her move everything what is the best way to give support to her move? This is an undaunting task as she have a lot of things and her ex will be picking up his belongings as in good health. How can she do this move within 2 months and find everything she needs done,Any pratical prudent guidance would be helpful and thank you
Answers: The other answers are great - but here's a crucial extra. Make sure that you hold everything you need to bring back ready for bed - especially for the kids - within a separate box in the vehicle.
Have a shower curtain, shampoo/soap, sets of clean sheets, toothbrushes and pajamas someplace glib to find. Also make up the bed and have the bathroom all set first thing; that track when she is ready to collapse, she can snatch a shower and crash.

I am moving across the country next week. My counsel is to first sort through everything, and make 3 piles; one to hang on to, one to donate, and one for trash. Pack what is least used first (Christmas decor, for instance). Label respectively box with a common description of contents and what room it belongs in. Use extra towels and sheets for lining. Pack what will be used first last (bathroom items, verbs sheets, 2-3 days of clean clothes, a couple of pots & pan, enough dishes and silverware, or disposables). When the hours of daylight of the move comes, unload the truck and put each box within the room it belongs. This will keep things sorted properly, and you'll avoid moving boxes more than once.
