Does anyone know how foil heluim balloons hold up outside overnight...the temps are to be in the mid 60s overnight and afterwards high 70s during the day. What nearly in the rain, can they stay afloat? Thanks
Answers: When helium balloon get cool, they will sink, they will get smaller. As the sun shines on them & they return with warmer, the helium will get more busy & float again. I was told years ago, if they need perked up for a f¨ēte, just warm them up beside a blow dryer. Had to do it when I bought some for my daughter's birthday in January. They got cold & sunk, but perked put money on up once I got them in a thaw out room.
Rain sticking to the balloons will tend to weight them down.

In the coolness of the night the heluim will expand. Fill your balloons at impossible to tell apart room temp as what your party will be.
