Answers:    Fly tapes (Revenge brand) work pretty well, but you will have need of to hang it near the night light for it to be most effective.

If you have lots of flies, and you don't own screens, you can get the attractant-based traps (found at Wal-Mart for around $5) and hang up it outside (after activating it with water). It have pheromones that bring the flies swarming to it, then they get into it and drown. They work really in good health, but claim to have an offensive odor if used inside. I never have it in the house. It got so full of flies that it turned black and bulged, but it rain into it too, so a little extra was river. I wouldn't spend this kind of money for a handful of flies like you hold.

There are also fly tapes (clear) that you put on the window, and the flies acquire stuck to them during the day when it is darker inside than out. The Brand I hold is "Revenge", and it's called "window & eyeshade fly catchers". They are in the gardening department of Wal-Mart, in small stores, and within the larger Wal-Marts, will be near the soaps--but it's a little pest control subsection. (www.get-revenge.us)

Oh, and don't forget the plain old fly swatter. A flat chunk of newspaper will work if you are prompt with the arm. It's surprising what a little physical shot can do when you're really desperate!

Good luck.
I suggest fly paper strips. Your grocery or hardware store should sell them. They are non-toxic, and inexpensive.
