I live in an apartment beside two others in Ontario. My bill usually fluctuates at arond $40 (or less) per month. For the month of december we get a bill of $140 (1740 KWH). This makes NO sense to us because we didn't conversion our habits when it comes to electricity use AND we weren't even here for the month. We made sure turn everything stale and unplug the things we could before we vanished. We did a calculation and for our bill to be that soaring we would have have to kept the hot water furnace running for 6 hours every day for a month. Anyways, it's freshly really not logical. We had an electrician come up and zilch appears wrong. I don't know where to dance from here because I was told my subsequent bill will be high too because the meter read 300KWH for a week. Any suggestions? Where can I budge from here? The management surrounded by the building is not cooperating.
Answers: You may want to call the utilities company and own them check to see the meter isn't malfunctioning.
The only other entity I can think is that someone is ripping past its sell-by date your electricity. Though I'm not sure how that could happen.
Maybe you should ring the company. they have messed up. Maybe the charged you for the end month by accident near all the other fees. That happen to my mom once and she did pay the bill. It be just the companies mistake. Hope you grasp it all worked out.
