I was thinking of swapping my electric hot dampen system to gas, as I have hear that the hot water system acoounts for nearly partially your electricity bill? Is this true and for those of you that have swapped to gas, what are you abiding now, be it worth it?
Answers: unless you have a chimney or you are going to buy a big efficiency reservoir that only desires to be vented, the cost of installing adjectives that will not be recovered. you can install the electric yourself but you would need a gas fitter to install the gas watertank. I made the swap a while pay for when i had a exotic furnace installed and i dont think it compensated off. dont forget the price of gas is constantly on the rise
It would be better to conserve than install gas. Buy a unusual electric and use less.
